We in the Department of Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies (AMNE), who are hosting this conference, acknowledge that UBC-Vancouver is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam people.
Though we are gathering in a virtual space, we want to acknowledge that we as hosts are situated on lands that have always been a place of learning, culture, history, and tradition for generations of Musqueam people.
